At the Swiss Ball 2008, the Swiss Society of New York replaces the traditional raffle with the inauguration of a Silent Auction. The new format allows us to better showcase the outstanding products and services of our valued contributors. This new element of the Swiss Ball provides direct financial support to the annual Swiss Society Scholarship. This scholarish is extended to a student in the field of study of the Guest of Honor or theme of the Swiss Ball. Additonal proceeds are used to underwrite our program of events.
